Division. Disconnection. Disharmony.
We need another way.
February 14 - March 20, 2024
Jesus showed another way. He walked on earth and walked to the cross to heal ancient divisions and to show the way of living in harmony, in God’s shalom.
This Lent walk with Jesus through stories and scripture, in movement and prayer, as we seek God’s good road, the way of harmony. Along the journey, indigenous followers of Jesus from across North America and Hawaii (Turtle Island and Pasifika) share God’s shalom and peace through stories and wisdom from their communities.
Each week during Lent you will be invited to take a walk in your neighborhood or on your campus while listening to a 45-minute audio guide. Prayer practices and space for reflection in these guides will invite you to follow this way of Jesus in your own life. You will also receive a Lenten devotion and have the opportunity to participate in several online gatherings of prayer and reflection including a short Ash Wednesday prayer service on February 14.
So, gather your own community of students, faculty, friends, and harmony-seekers to walk with us this Lent. If you are registering as part of a group, each member will register individually and provide the name of the group, group leader, and contact information.
